Honestly you couldn't pay me to go next week, madhouse galore, not to mention Saturday is free (so technically I guess you'd be paying $50... $25 x 2 tickets)

You can check MUNI's webpage for a list of buses that run through it, you MIGHT be able to park in the park if you get there early. Usually before 9am is almost guaranteed a good spot, but if it's like Rich says where people will be lining up at 6am to get into the place.... maybe not.

I remember that we had to park at the park before then walk for about 1/2 mile to that place. They used to block the road on the weekend.

On Sunday they do block off certain roads, it allows people to bike, walk etc in the streets without worry of cars, however the one I drive on by taking an immediate right as soon as 19th turns to MLK they don't.

The Academy is anticipating 50,000 visitors throughout the weekend. It's going to be a madhouse. Local transportation: Bart into San Francisco and the the N Judah out to
9th. Or Take Bart to Glen Park and tranfer to the 44 O'Shannosee (sorry bout the spelling). I'm with whoever said they'd have to pay 'em to go on the first weekend.
I've seen it and it's very much worth going; just not on those days (IMO).
