Week 2 update:
Fingers crossed still going strong. No deaths yet. All the fish look healthy. I picked up some canned pods from algaebarn.com. It looks like cat food and needs to be refrigerated. Trying to wean them onto dead foods. The fish are so small I can’t tell if they are eating them. I am continuing to feed baby brine shrimp with a little selcon added. From what I read they won’t be ready to be sold until at least 4 weeks of age and eating small brine shrimp or mysis. It has been pretty cool watching them grow over time. You can now see their eyes and mouths clearly and their patterns are starting to kick in. They remind me of freshwater angel fish at this time.

Wow quite a herd. I count 20 I think in the picture. If you bought the Can O’ Cyclops it works to freeze it in small ice cube trays

This is what I bought and thanks for the great idea!!

There are 24 total (I think) according to my son. Thinking I might need to move them to a 20g tank soon. So far it isn't that crowded yet, but hopefully it will be soon.

Just a quick feeding time video. Mixing in live brine shrimp with canned copepods that I keep frozen and thaw out in little chunks. Mix those in with the brine. Still can’t tell how much of the dead stuff they eat.

Week five update. Still going strong! They are eating frozen copepods reliably. I feed these first prior to the live baby brine. So far no interest in dead brine shrimp or R.O.E. Planning on going by Hayward for some live brine after the swap if I can’t get them eating that by then.
