That tank tools so clean with the clear back. But it’s double the work cleaning the glassThe lenses came in, some updated pics.
After removing all the fish, nitrates went down to zero. Started dosing more amino acids to keep up but no luck.
Ordered in Neonitro and will start dosing tomorrow.
Are you doing the AB+ manually? I got some acro power so I could automate the amino dosing for my tank, but I believe the AB+ can be left out for a week if you fill the container with the amount that would be used in that week.Dosed nitrate up to 8ish ppm over a few days.
Temp - 78
Alk - 8 dkh
Calcium - 450
Mag - 1480
Phosphate - .07
Nitrate - 8ish
Now we're waiting to see if the corals will bounce back from a minor bleaching event.
Been dosing 20ml AB+ nightly.
Autodosing 58ml of All for Reef throughout the day.
Some frags were added from DBTC Coral Reefer:
Red and blue war coral
Jelly bean favia (bleaching happened)
La lakers monti (bleaching happened)
Mystic monti (bleaching happened)
Sunset monti (some bleaching happened)
Rainbow monti (bleaching happened)
From DBTC RandyC:
Miami Hurricane chalice
Aussie gold tort
PC Rainbow acro
I haven’t been using it long enough to recommend it or not, but I haven’t noticed any visual change since switching to it from AB+. And when I had started dosing AB and eventually AB+ I was able to see an increase in PE from euphylia and just an increase in “puffiness” from other LPS. I haven’t noticed any significant decrease in those visual benefits though, and it is easier to just have the doser deal with it.I am doing AB+ manually. I've read that you need to clean the dosing container well and the tubing as well.
I was considering dosing other aminos, how do you like acropower? (I know its a staple in SPS keeping)
