Custom Sump Recommendations?

Sump dims I spec'd are 36" l x 19 3/4" w x 21" h, cost is ~equivalent to an eshopps sump of the same length, but this way I get a bit more volume and some nice extra features I'm looking for.

Ok that's cool, custom sump at mass produced pricing. Looked at the Eshopps one of that approximate size, wasn't a big fan of the configuration they did in it though.

How much clearance will you have above the top of the 21” tall sump in your stand (is it going in a stand)? You might want to mock-up your sump (like with a cardboard box) and check how easy it is to get skimmer, filter socks etc in and out.

Yeah my original thought was to toss in a 24" tall tank and call it a day, I made the stand tall enough, but the way I designed the openings I am limited due to my skimmer cup size.
