Just testing the pic posting...If it works, this is the flower that reminded me of the yellow and red zoa in the banner. That thing is outstanding!

Sure they do Jeremy...it's not that rare.

We gots them down here, I'll snap you a pic of a friends place :)

Not native Gresh ;), that's what I was implying, looks like a bird of paradise to me. Come down to my g/f's families place in Manuel Antonio, you won't want to leave ;D

Oh well what is native around here now anyways :D I was out with Jake and I kept Id'ing stuff for him and I only recall the oceanic animals to be mostly native...most of the shrubs, plants and trees where not native. He did get to see some redwoods. I had to inform him the "Lone cypris" (sp?) in Monterey is a non native species brought over by the Spainards. Euk this, pine that, ice plant this, etc :(

Pampas grass...grrrrrr

What about crab grass?

What a mess DV has become. I hadn't been by there since the start of the work :D Got stuck for 1 hour in that area due to traffic!!!!!! Oh well, I even went back on my promise to to enter SF until the BB was done :(
