Just testing the pic posting...If it works, this is the flower that reminded me of the yellow and red zoa in the banner. That thing is outstanding!

Not native Gresh ;), that's what I was implying, looks like a bird of paradise to me. Come down to my g/f's families place in Manuel Antonio, you won't want to leave ;D

Oh well what is native around here now anyways :D I was out with Jake and I kept Id'ing stuff for him and I only recall the oceanic animals to be mostly native...most of the shrubs, plants and trees where not native. He did get to see some redwoods. I had to inform him the "Lone cypris" (sp?) in Monterey is a non native species brought over by the Spainards. Euk this, pine that, ice plant this, etc :(

You forgot Pampas grass everyones favorite, I swear that stuff is the glue keeping devil's slide open :D

What about crab grass?

What a mess DV has become. I hadn't been by there since the start of the work :D Got stuck for 1 hour in that area due to traffic!!!!!! Oh well, I even went back on my promise to to enter SF until the BB was done :(
