Oh well what is native around here now anyways I was out with Jake and I kept Id'ing stuff for him and I only recall the oceanic animals to be mostly native...most of the shrubs, plants and trees where not native. He did get to see some redwoods. I had to inform him the "Lone cypris" (sp?) in Monterey is a non native species brought over by the Spainards. Euk this, pine that, ice plant this, etc
