Did everyone that dealt with bacterial issues ever find out the underlying cause? Last month I also had a large RTN event, which mostly impacted my long established colonies. Most of them were even the easier to keep SPS. I used the witch hazel treatment which TBH, didn't really seem to do anything. The only thing that helped was cutting apart the colonies and trying to save the smaller chunks.

Strange, I too have had unexplained RTN episodes in the last 2 months. Lost a couple colonies that always did well and grew from frags. At the same time some slow dormant ones started doing well.

One theory I've hard mentioned on Reefbum that might have validity is the increase in chloramines in our water supply in during the summer. Others have had anecdotal evidence that they experience RTN during the summer months too. I recently changed my DI resin and it burned out after ~100 gallons. That's even after I added two carbon blocks before the resin.

Interesting. No, I had this big shift in my tank and had not made any significant husbandry changes. Nothing showing out of the ordinary on ICP either. It really just felt like kind of a shift in the biome, certain corals suffered and others did well. But there was clearly some kind of "disease" making it's way through certain corals that was different from STN/RTN I've seen in the past. Nothing would immediately lose tissue, in fact the tissue would hang on for long periods of time, just slowly looking worse and worse. I could almost see it traveling around the tank.

I tried a couple antibiotic nukes (oxylinic acid) that had no effect.

Yes, I had some coral die off last summer as well. I thought it was heat related but this makes sense.
