Kessil

do you think it will hold?

Do a risk benefit analysis;

Risk, tank crushes the bins, bins ruined, tank broken, 300 gallons of water all over the place.
Benefit, tank is 2 feet off the ground when you fill it.

Doesn't seem worth it at all. I'm not sure what "Structural Foam" is, but those bins were made to contain water without bowing out, not accept a load down along the walls.

Your call. I wouldn't do it though.

I was thinking of the thin walled ones, not the stock tanks. Those are surprisingly strong, but I agree that the cost/benefit in comparison to a couple foam blocks is pretty poor. Is there a reason you want the tank high off the ground for this?

Almost reads like a troll post. Checking for leaks on a 300G acrylic tank on top of two 150G troughs.

Are you suspecting that one of the welded seams has been compromised?

Yeah didn't know if this is a troll post so didn't want to waste time thinking about a solution, but since it seems that it's legit.... but why does the tank need to be elevated? If you need it off the ground a bit you could just put the 2x4s on the ground, if you want it elevated a bit, buy 3 cinder blocks for each 2x4 (2 on the ends one in the middle).
