Is this the perfect-sized tank for a yellow tang?

Playing devils advocate again.

In the wild only about 1% of yellow tangs born reach maturity. For a yellow tang to get to 28 years old it is very lucky and thus it was cared for appropriately.

One thing the really keeps giving me the ick is when our BOD say I’m taking my BOD hat off or this is my opinion and not the BOD. The hat never comes off! Your opinions directly affect your decision making. You are making decisions for BAR and its members based on off your own biases. So your opinion is the BOD opinion be it one of many.

Regarding this one point, you are missing the point of when BOD members say that. They are saying what they think and that it does not represent the official perspective/position of the entire BOD, just their opinion. There is nothing wrong with this at all. We are all people with opinions, we don’t all agree on stuff, and official BOD positions are something else entirely. Even if everyone on the BOD feels the same way about something, even then it is not the official position of the BOD if we don’t discuss and codify it officially.

When we don’t put that disclaimer, some non-BOD members will pounce and say the BOD says this or that or thinks this or that or has decided this or that or whatever, every time someone shares a personal opinion. This has happened many times and causes misunderstandings that sometimes blow up and spin out of control, with no underlying real reason for it. It is not at all true that one single Board member’s personal opinion is the same or even remotely the same as the official stance of the entire BOD/club. AND Board members should be allowed to have and say their personal opinions just as much as any other member without fear of attack. At least if we want to keep having volunteers to serve on the Board.

But you are BOD and you are saying it so this take on releasing liability from bar by putting in that statement is unprofessional and you guys know it. A news agency saying allegedly.

Would you make a statement on behalf of the hospital or company you work prefaced with that statement?

BOD is not being attacked John and this is the same the last time I pointed it out and it’s the same BOD coming in and pilling on to back up there friends not Protect BAR

@DaddyHook catching up on all this. I'd recommend everyone take some time to cool off and enjoy this sunny Friday afternoon. It's pretty obvious now that you and certain others are never going to see eye-to-eye on certain topics. Agree to disagree and leave it at that. No decision will make everyone happy. It has just become arguing in circles from all parties to the point of becoming toxic which is not what this club is about.
