I have 3 fixtures, each with 3 strings: one string of XP-G white, one string of XP-E Blue, and one string of XP-E royal blue (81 LEDs total). The whole thing draws about 255 watts at max.

Anyone know the best way to rent/borrow a PAR meter?

Where are you located?

I have an apogee sensor SQ-110. This is calibrated for sun, but can be converted for LED. I do not have a special meter, just use a voltmeter. Willing to lend it out to BAR members. But you can also buy these for only $139

I am in Orinda between Oakland and Walnut Creek.

I don't know much about these meters. It seems like they recommend the MQ-200 for aquarium use, but this is $379. Forgive my inexperience on these things, but it sounds like you are saying one can just buy the sensor and use a voltmeter and do some math to get to the answer of PAR? How does that work? Does this introduce some error into the measurement?
