He might have since he took his dog to the Vet to get one but not sure on his fish. I don’t remember seeing anything when I received the livestock. Wouldn’t a marine biologist or lfs business owner with license be 100x better than a Veterinarian to sign off on live fish! Geologists for live rock lol.
When I used to fish in BC for salmon and halibut the regulations at time were I needed a health certificate to bring back my dead frozen catch so I got one once from a fish packing company . The border agents all laughed when I showed it to them. They said all we need is to be able to identify the specific species since certain ones need cites. After that never bothered to get one.
Its Halibut season now in the SF Bay and reports are looking good and will just get better time to start tossing lines!!
