Generators and backup batteries. Emphasis on plural.
i live by the marina and a kaiser hospital. i rarely have any types of outages. i have a few large ups and a battery pump in case i need to bring it out of storage.
This pair comes daisy chained and plugs into any standard 5 volt usb power adapter.
After last year's rolling outages I have a 2500w gas generator ready to fire up.

I simply have a vortech battery backup, it runs a pump keeps water moving, should be good enough for any standard outage (which isn't much)
I have a larger 12v fan running off and triggered by my Apex.

It occurred to me that the hybrid light fixture would be a great place to mount some fans blowing down on hot days. I’m thinking three 140mm computer case fans. I’m sure salt spray could be a problem...any thoughts?
