Read that as well Jeremy, however you have to take into account the sample coral the took was from 14 meters down, so its no surprise that the bluer bulbs brought about better growth.

I do wonder however how this extrapolates, if at all, to other corals

Best music depends if you have a biotpoe and where the fish are from. Most fish believe it or not are into bubble gum pop music, mainly The Spice Girls.
