Nice!! Hows your army of brittle stars doing?
Great. Though "micro" isn't a great description anymore. I found one yesterday that the main body was the size of a dime and the arms were almost 6" across.

That looks great! I have my "live dead rocks" from 15 years ago cycling in fresh water. Then test them for metals or anything else bad before doing the salt water cycle. Some of them are nearly 2 feet tall and will make a nice 1980s wall vibe. =)

That is a cool home office!

Here is a frankenbrittle. These are the type that like to be in rocks with their tentacles hanging out. They make good cleaners. Thanks grizfyrfyter!

Anyone have the small white ones that are usually in coral gravel?

hooked the calcium reactor up last night. flow is at a trickle and no longer upstream of the tank ph probe (facepalm).

ph took a hit but it was peaking high anyhow.

I've never bothered measuring the dkh of effluent since I don't trust the test at the range. I filed in my last calcium reactor by slowly lower the pH of the effluent until I see an increase in tank minerals.

There's probably a better way to do it but this is what worked last time and I'm juggling too many thing to try another new tech this time lol

I keep calcium between 450 and 500 or it starts coating my heaters.

Alk is around 9 but I am less worried about an overdose with the larger water volume and switching to the reactor so I may run higher like I did with the 170.
