My little pack of chroms...
My Tang and Angels favorite food...
Some pretty nice coraline growth covering all the rock.
So I've had this stuff before in several tanks but it was always purple. I had a deer cowrie that loved to rest on in it in the day and eat it at night. This stuff is a light yellow. I've always assumed it's a type of sponge.... Am I right? ID?

;D ;D ;D I've got a few things coming in tomorrow. With the tank being 30" deep I was not liking the limitations of my two 250w MH's.... So I've got two 400W Icecap Ballast coming along with some new mounts, moguls and reflectors as well as switching out my VHO's with two T5's for supplement actinic. Will be looking for a taker on my current lighting in the next week or so....
I am also doing a similar thing for the inline frag tank by switching out my underpowered 250W HQI ballast running the bulb for a 250W Icecap ballast and adding two 36" T5's for suppliment actinic. Will be building aluminum frames for both lighting set-ups over the weekend and hope to have things up and running with the new kickbutt lighting by sunday evening.
With my NC state tax return I decided to go ahead and snag up the controller I've been wanting. Just ordered the Reef Keeper Elite w/ Net Module and extra RKM-PC4. Should arrive sometime next week so I am really looking forward to getting all these new toys set up.
Will post the lighting build as I complete over the weekend and will do some before and after shots on the lighting in both tanks.
The mighty magnet I ordered still hasn't arrived yet but I am also expecting it in the next day or two. I've been letting the hard green and brown algaes as well as coraline build up on the tank so I can do a good before and after with them. Lots of updates and pics to come....

Redoing the lights on the 40g breeder.... currently running a 250w MH 15k cheap bulb run by a Odyssea or something rather ballast. Switching out the ballast for a 250W Icecap and adding two 36" T5's to run supplement lighting. Using a new SPS 14K 250w MH bulb. Building a frame to hold everything and give a good finish.
