So I used to have an AquaMedic Ocean Runner and was quite a fan of it. I'm looking into possibly going with a sump again and was wondering if anyone local uses/sells them. I haven't been able to find good info on a pressure curve, aside from a basic pdf graph that shows that what I did with it before was impossible. I'm looking for something that can put out ~3-500gph I guess @ about 5' of head? Just need a little bit of flow on a 40g tank, doesn't need the whole 10x turnover that many people aim for. Any other thing out there that's QUIET?

I use an Eheim 1250. Plenty of flow for my sump :) Very very quiet.

For some reason the last few OR pumps I've bought have been complete junk, they still look the same, but are just junk for some reason.

Thanks guys.

And Jer- the OR I was using came from ~7yrs ago or so. I'm sure something changed in manufacturing since then.

I use both (OR 2500 for return; Eheim 1250 for chiller) and the OR was a surprise to me. Bought it used when I picked up the tank and it's performed better than expectations (very quiet).
