Long term reliable bubblers?

Both my USB, battery backup, turn on when the power cuts, bubblers died. Another exacerbating factor in my tank issues.

Anyone have a recommendation for equivalent ones that last more than a year or so with minimal to no use? USB powered preferably. Maybe bonus points if the battery can be replaced (I'm assuming that's the issue with mine, but taking it apart right now doesn't seem exciting.

Triple points if somehow it had a smart option to report battery to esphome (I'm now debating if I do want to rip mine apart and make it smart).

I use this Hygger air pump. It’s powered by USB/Plug and has a built in battery and switches over to battery mode if it detects a loss of power. Great for emergency.

Perfect timing. Trustworthy brand, though given how similar this looks to the Amazon ones I'm wondering if they're white labeling something and if it's reliable given it's new.

Have you had one for a long time and found it reliable? I like my other hygger stuff.

Yeah same look and price as that AQQA one on Amazon.

I've had it for a year and only use it as a backup when I'm on vacation. Haven't had to really use it tho since I don't get power outages much. *knock on wood*
Same situation for me. My frag tank I keep over permanently in there. My display i add one when I go out of town, though I might switch to permanently put one in there with black tubing ran along a back overflow and a bubbler in the sand so it's all invisible.

Maybe give yours a try again to make sure it's still working?

I didn't realize mine had died until the day before leaving I tested it again.

My choice was colbalt aquatics usb air pump. I have around 5 of them. I just fired a few up and they're all still running after owning them for 3-4 years. Too bad I think they discontinued them. I bought them when they were still blue and didn't come with a usb bank.

How long does the battery last? Couldn't find this info on the product page or any of the reviews.

Some conflicting info on their website but anywhere from 23-25hrs.
