Slowly getting into SPS and greedy to see more coloration on them, I'm thinking to add a single T5 next to my LEDs.

If you're not aware, I have 2 Hydra 26s suspended over my DT and I don't want to destroy the look, so I'm looking for a 24-30" very minimal single T5 fixture that I somehow want to hang/mount next to my LEDs.

Here's how my current setup looks like...

I saw this tank on CL and liked how the 2 T5s are sitting next to the Radion.

Any suggestions?

My suggestion: Test it out before you spend the effort and expense. You may not want to keep it.

I tried it on mine really quickly, since I love tinkering to "improve" things.
Trying with white mostly just added a bit of yellow. I did not like it.
Adding standard actinic perhaps helped a bit, but did not seem worth it.

I probably still have the temporary test fixture lying around. (Ballast + T5 connectors on a crummy old board)
If you want to borrow it. (Union City)

Good point, I was thinking a blue plus T5 or something that doesn't kill the look and also promotes good color.
