Talked to Steve at New Alameda Aquatics about Mag/Dowflake.

He's willing to buy in bulk and repackage in smaller sizes for sale to us. I have the supplier info, and he'll order once I get it to him

I found a couple places which sell the 50 pound bags for $14 a piece, unfortunatly the shipping is probably the killer.

I'm wokring on a different source, my work We use higher grades of both those, and more. I just need to get the data sheets for all of them so RHF can give them a gander. They're all food grade, and the de-icer for sale isn't, IIRC.

Well on the Steinhart tour I recall seeing a huge pallet of the stuff downstairs, I think lapsan asked where he could get some in that quantity

Spectrum is a viable source But really, any commercial chemical house can help

any word on where to get magflake in the east bay preferably? naa still doesn't have it, just talked to steve..

For a short term solution, use just epson salts you can get in walgreens or any other drugstore
