It will be interesting to see what happens. There isn’t much vertical growth space.I bet that 90 gal Is sounding pretty good about now...
I might have to sneak a bigger tank in here

Their behavior seems like a good fit for my style of tank. I don’t have much vertical room, but lots of places to perchI really like my longnose hawkfish. It's cool how he just perches on stuff and checks out the world.

Ooh they have a pair listed now. I might jump on that once I know my lid is on its way. It should be coming soon, after my multiple month wait.Live Aquaria Diver's Den frequently has bonded pairs.
yeah it may even be too crowded with 1. But I only have a pair of clowns in there nowSupposedly they can be territorial, so not sure how many more fish you plan to add. Mine seems to mind its own business
What is your par goal? 200 may be fine for a lot of acros. You run the risk of baking your lower light stuff. Unless you just put them in corners.wow, I’m glad I borrow the par meter it has been surprising.
I used the par meter to set my lights early on, and my goal was even spread because I was concerned with the shallow tank that I could have issues with uneven par.
But I just checked the areas I’m keeping the acros and they’re at 175-200, and then if they grow upwards the par peaks around 250-275 close to the surface. My plan will be to check the par at different % intensity for the light and store those numbers and then very slowly adjust the lighting to raise the par. I will probably increase the intensity 5% and put it on acclimation mode to make the change gradually
Yeah I’m afraid to mess with what I’ve got going on now. But it was surprisingly low. I’ll probably just raise it slightly to bring the areas at 175 closer to 200.What is your par goal? 200 may be fine for a lot of acros. You run the risk of baking your lower light stuff. the front rockwork with zoas and mushrooms is around 75-80 so I think there’s some margin there to raise it without impacting those lower light coralsWhat is your par goal? 200 may be fine for a lot of acros. You run the risk of baking your lower light stuff. Unless you just put them in corners.
I won’t make it to the meeting tomorrow so I wanted to shoot a quick video of the tank to share. This is under the brighter setting of the radion that I’ll eventually get to
