Max’s 30 gal

I think I want to add some Bangaii cardinals, how many should I add? I currently have 2 clownfish and a cleaner shrimp in this 32x18x8 tank. Could I get away with 3? that is what the 25 gal pack from live aquaria includes.

Does anyone know a local breeder?
 
The ORA red Goni from @Coral reefer has started hosting my clowns. So far the male seems to be the only one brave enough to dive in. But the Goni seems to be okay with it and doesn’t retract. So cool to see!

I think 2-3 would be fine.

I put a bunch of shapes together with the TLF frag rocks and then wanted to have a bunch of different shapes. I’ve then made changes based on flow, like taking down taller structures.

It looks like coral euphoria knew what he was doing when he built his aquascape but we got to a similar design. I like their drilled rocks and acrylic rods though

I broke up some of the front rock work because it was sitting flat on the bottom and I didn’t like that it trapped stuff and blocked flow across the bottom of the tank. I also broke up some other pieces and then put feet on them so they were tilted up. I still need to add feet to a few others. I used the newly created space to take things off the frag rack

Mushroom rock (needs feet) the Sunkist from DBTC is so bubbly and weird. I want other bounces, or maybe the gonzo will bounce one day

Deep waters, I’m trying to slowly move them closer to higher par on the frag rack so I can put them on my rock. I don’t have a spot available with adequate flow and low light

I just found this multiplier for the schedule values on Mobius and realized it had been at 50%. So I was getting half the par I measured when I tested using the live test mode.

Now that I’ve realized the mistake I have it set to raise gradually using the acclimation mode over the next 45 days. It will be interesting to see how alk consumption changes as I raise the par.
 
Tank is looking amazing, I had some cloudiness but did a water change and refreshed the carbon and it’s clear now.

It’s pretty neat, the alk has been consistent at 8 for over 48hrs. The khg chart is flatline despite tests every 4 hrs. Im up to 6mL of each part

NO3: .2 ppm
PO4: .08ppm
Alk: 8 +-.1

Nitrates have gone down since the last test 12/15 (I’ve been lazy). I have been dosing 3mL so I’m going to increase that to 4mL because it is trending down and I don’t want to bottom out. Salifert test was showing almost clear even at the side angle so it’s .2 or lower

I’d like to try and use captive bred so I’ve been looking at either a dottyback or a mandarin. I have a lot of pods and would continue to supplement for a picky eater, but CB should mean they’ll take frozen/pellets.

Can’t go wrong with a Midas or even a jawfish, love their personalities

yeah I’ve been considering the Midas. I had a blenny that went carpet surfing. I go back and forth on wanting to stick to cb since my clowns are captive bred

Are you sure? The PE looks different...with me I see individual long strings not star shaped polyps like this...u sure this is not pc rainbow?
