Michael's 300 In Vegas

I was just being an obnoxious, unhelpful twat. The amount of problems people have with neptune products just continues to surprise me.
It's annoying because they just ghost their clients re: support and parts now. The Wav pumps were pretty good Sicce based pumps, but you literally can't get any service on them, but they never made an announcement if they're discontinued. Same for the Neptune Sky.

@H2OPlayar for the price of that Aussie live rock, it's almost at the point where you should try to hunt down cheap soft corals from Australia and ask for ones that have the largest rocks attached to them.

Agree. Most of the products work great most of the time. Only since they were taken over by the big guy do I notice a downturn in the customer service, although the wav pump could never be serviced electronically so I think I am sol there.

Any pointers for where to buy large soft corals with rocks attached? The shipping is only $40, but $30/lb is steep when you want 5-10 lbs, and more as you get more.

rock attached changes CITES status unfortunately.

Was it you fish choice or a job you inherited?

Neither. My employer chose them purely on price/availability at ASAP that day. He had a long history of poor choices.

Saying that, they made great tank mates for the other fish and helped keep the tangs, rabbitfish and chromis schooling.

It was a 3 side divider at a fancy restaurant. There was a computer controlled (via 12 motorized ball valves) 200 gallon refugium/surge tank above it.

The acrylic tank builder sent the tank with what looked like dirt in the most visible seam. When confronted with that, they choose the F' you line of, then said they'd fly out and kick my bosses as. Great business model, but on par for the two. They're notorious. I can't say the name as they're extremely litigious.

I had a group of 6 in a 55, definitely great reef aquarium fish.
And, oh, those guys.....Run for the hills!!

Added some water protection for the trim above the aquarium. Found some thin acrylic L brackets with adhesive and stuck them to the underside.

Also picked up a large blue Haddoni carpet anemone yesterday from across town from a tank breakdown. It is huge!

It stuck down to the bottom overnight and got happy.

Also got my RODI system onto two brackets instead of spread out over the board. And then three days later snapped the solid piece that connects the first carbon canister directly to the next, so I ordered some of the screw in fittings and am going to add some flex line between the two carbon canisters to look like the below ones. The brackets that are made for these barely are long enough, or I need to figure out better plumbing geometry.

That's a lot of kessils!

That carpet reminds me of the one I got from your last tank. Do you have egg crate underneath the substrate again? Curious if he moves around...
I think it is the right number for this tank, especially when I can start to keep sps, haha. No egg crate in this tank. Erica really liked the old carpet, so I was looking for one. She noticed it wasn't the same color as the old one, but maybe it will grow on her. The thing is a foot wide.
