Oh... and this morning, my black widow RBTA split. I am hoping this is a good sign and not a bad one.
Very reasonable. Ping @Arvin R on specifics. What were the prices on the corals? Super cool looking!
What does compression mean in this context? The first three images, are from kay's coral cove (@Arvin R). The first pic is a Mai Tai Goni and right of it is a poison Ivy.
The second pic has a scoly, a hammer and a couple of torches.
The third pic is yet another torch. Don't ask me the names... I already forgot.
The rest of the images are other corals I wanted to take progress pic of.
Planning to do anther water change this coming weekend. Will be testing before the water change and a day after the water change for compression purpose.

I am currently on three week water change schedule. So far things have been stable. I want to see if the changes I am currently making are actually heading in the right direction or are things going backwards. What does compression mean in this context?
I think it's a typo... comparison makes more senseWhat does compression mean in this context?
I blame the drugs. And yes, comparison and not compression.I think it's a typo... comparison makes more sense
Are you dosing magnesium? What are you adding to the tank? I assume the values for nitrate and phosphate are mixed up. Are you running that high intentionally? Which salt are you using?water changes are roughly 15% base on total system volume.
Nitrates: .23
Phosphates: 40
Alk: 9.42
CA: 460
Mag: 1537
I was dosing Mag, but have stopped since the Tropic Marin salt has a high amount of mag.Are you dosing magnesium? What are you adding to the tank? I assume the values for nitrate and phosphate are mixed up. Are you running that high intentionally? Which salt are you using?

Is it 40ppm of phosphate or 0.40ppm of phosphate? And is it 0.23ppm nitrate or 23ppm nitrate?I was dosing Mag, but have stopped since the Tropic Marin salt has a high amount of mag.
Ironically, no. Those values of the nitrate and phos are actual and not mixed.
Jinx!Ok Then .23 what and 40 what?
What units of measurement are we talking about. What kits are giving you those numbers?
