I really want to know what they all think about a solid foundation ( core ) of a reef for sps. Do they all believe the way to go is live rock ( meaning rock from the ocean ) , water change , trace ?( is trace a marketing gimmick ), calcium reactor or 2 part ? I know you can do both but what is their opinion that they would do ?

With our ability now to dial in nutrients where we would like it seems a current issue is where we should be keeping them long term.

Does Julien agree with the Charles molar ratio for our N&P or does he have a different approach to where he keeps his nutrient levels at.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to attend, but I'm sure it'd be interesting to hear their take on antibiotics in the industry, both for home treatments and the usage of antibiotics for prophylactic treatment. Especially in distribution/wholesale and LFSes where it's known that they run low doses of cipro for extended periods of time.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm referring to use of antibiotics on corals.

Not only those two, but in general, the old heads or the new blood. I can see reasons for either to be honest. That’s why we work together!

Just so you guys all know,
Monday Labor Day will be an all day event starting at 2 with drinks, food, music, photobooth, bbq, etc.. going to be a fun day with the talk starting around 5:30-6ish
