Mp40 W connect to Reef Link?

Hi,

Grabbed a couple older MP40s that just have the "W" designation, see photo. Will these connect to a reef link?

I think so.
Factor reset it first:

Then go to reef link to add the mp40 to your tank or create a tank and add it in if you don't have it yet.

Just because it has the "W" doesn't mean the wireless chip is in there. If you plug it in the w should light up. Or you can open them up and see if the wireless chip is in there. I think you can buy the chip for $40 or so and throw it in if not.

Open up your Ecosmart software and if they're within range and capable they will pop up in the menu.

You need reeflink for ecosmart. Don't you? Well for the vortechs at least.

Make sure the w is lit with blue led light id not. Just do your self a fav and buy a mobius module(30$..I think) and control the power head using ecotech mobius app.
Do not go any other route in my opinion
