They are similar. The VCA helix is the opposite direction and have 5 blades instead of 4.

Can you make it nem proof? Guard the slot that sucks in flow from the rear. Had a nem bite the dust in it.

I read about that. I've been playing with mine to see about doing that. The problem is that any restriction you add to the eductor vents will ruin the flow it pulls through. An enclosed eductor (like Skimmers) have pretty good pull but these don't.

I can close the eductor vents and you would still get the turbulent flow but not the increased flow.

Or, build a big cage so the anemone just can get to the back of the nozzle.

Had to tear my aqua scape apart to catch a coral beauty angelfish. Broke the big arch rock that was my favorite part of the whole tank. The tank looks stupid now but at least nothing will be eating my corals anymore.

He was nipping sps. I've had a flame angel eat LPS in the past so I should have known better.

Yeah, my flame angel ate a war paint scoly. I rescued that coral from a shop with less than half the flesh still there and it made a full recovery.
