MY IM 170EXT

Just to make sure- because if you asked me a year ago I’d have no idea lol… you screwed that into a stud in your ceiling? I used hooks that had a little wing to hang the wire because I realized where I wanted the lights there wasn’t a stud
No it is just screwed into the drywall with one of these toggle bolts the bolt is then ran through this piece here that is circled. The bolt from the toggle replaces the screw in the picture.

Forgot to let everyone know that my lights didnt end up in the tank this morning and i got the lights balanced but not lowered. Im not sure how much par increase i would get with lowering the lights but figured that should be something done slowly. View attachment 63893
I've been interested in the Dalua and vegemite bars for awhile. I may have to arrange a visit to you one time to check em out in person if you'll have me.

I really like your aquascape. This is basically what I want to do when I go back to a non-peninsula tank. I know people are big on the big branch NSA types, but this is way more my vibe. Love the big open sand space in the middle, and the sense of depth given by the side structures. Lots of space for corals and fish!

Maybe a little rock island offcenter somewhere in the middle would be cool when you need more coral space.

I wanted to leave all the open space in the middle for some acanthophyllias, scolys and fungia plate type coral but sometimes of wish I went with a bare bottom. Having gobies that kick up sand all they time is such a love hate relationship. I will have to take a video sometime showing the full tank aquascape.
