I follow BRS 4 months cycle. After 12 weeks, I start turn on light and add 5 fish (a pair of orange storm, two yellow belly blue tang and a clown tang). I am at the ugly state right now due to cyano and dino like algae. I am thinking to treat it using chemiclean. Should I way or treat it now?

I like your rock work. Stay the course. I think I let my tank cycle for 6 months before putting anything in.

Ive used chemiclean it works wonders but I wouldn’t at your stage. It really messes with the balance. You need a so,I’d foundation of bacteria to use chemiclean successfully in my opinion

2 blue tangs May Be fine for a couple of years, but I would absolutely remove one if you ever get a chance. You will regret having 2. Trust me. Don’t ask how I know...unless you really wanna hear a sad ugly story.

I only plan to get one Yellow Belly Blue tang. I asked a friend a while back to get one for me and he has not able to get it. I bought one last week from Aquatic Collection and two days later my friend told me he got one for me, so I end up having two at the moment.

Nah don't use Chemiclean just stay the course.
I strongly agree. Messed my tank up
Let it ride. Your future reef will thank you once the nutrients balance themselves out and become stable.

Thank you for recommend, I will let this stay it course until the nutrients balance themselves out and become stable.
Do you know how long will it take until the nutrients balance themselves?
In the mean time, do you think I need to do water change, adding CUC, adding MB7 bacteria...?

At the moment, I am trying to balance Alk, Cal and Mag by dosing since I don't have space for Cal Reactor. I am planning to add a algae scrubber down the road. I am try to keep it simple but not sure on how to do it yet.
Thank you for all the suggestion and feedback. I really appreciate for it.

Quick update on my 4ft 150gal. Restart last August after 4 months cycle and another month of high salinity due to bad calibration fluid, then got itch after that. But it turn around nicely after all the troubles. At the moment, there are 4 clown (two are tiny), a blue, a rabbit, four fires and two angles (gold flake and coral beauty).

At the moment all corals doing well. Lps happy and sps start encrusted. Plan to move the indo gold torch in the middle down to make room to add sps in the middle and upper of the tank.

A quick update of my tank after 13 months.
