Plumbing Problem--Drain Pipe Spurting Water

It turns out that I broke off part of the blade when cutting 1.5" pipe in February, like Jeremy experienced. That makes using the ratcheting cutters really difficult. I wore eye protection, but managed to cut my knuckle when I tried to rotate the pipe tonight. Argh. At least it's finished, and the vertical extension is no longer sticking up and blocking the view of my anemone painting above the tank!

Ewing has a set that will cut up to 2", they cost $80, but work like a charm :)

If you get the large ones, pony up for the one that costs a little more and has replaceable blades. Trust me on this one... I've replaced numerous blades which is far cheaper then replacing the entire unit.

How would you cut PVC without them?!
Why...with a laser of course!
