i have been using an old Custom Seal model 77840 pump for water change. It is connected to a 40 gallon bin in the garage.

It stopped working. I will take it apart for cleaning and see it works.

If buying another, used or new, any recommendations? Want one with 1” or larger plumbing, moves lots of water to speed up water change and of course reliable with minimal maintenance.

Thanks!

This one is the best imo. The ultra zero utility pump by Sicce. You can buy on bulk reef supply for$99

Glad to report that after I disassembled the impeller and did a thorough cleanup, it works again!

The pump was stuck by the gunk buildup from salt sediments over the last 5 years.
