Through some odd twists and turns, I am now considering buying this dual dosing head to dose Alk and CA.
I was not planning to buy a Red Sea product but this doser does seem to have at least three advantages:
1. Can be remote controlled.
2. Seems to be good for small dosing amounts.
3. Good instruction videos.
I was not able to run the Hydros 2 ml doser successfully in my frag tank. I constantly have microbubbles in the tubing no matter what I do. My CA went down to 360 ml despite dosing 12 ml CA in a 28-gallon tank.
I need something easier, and I cannot wait anymore for the new Tunze pump.
If it works, I might consider getting the same for my main display tank.
Any thoughts or best practices, or lessons learned on how to set up this doser?
