Is there anyone in this group that can make an adapter for all my Red Sea Items to connect to my Hydros Kraken? I bought the Kraken and found out there are no adapters for Red Sea.

What sort of outlet do you need for the red sea things? A standard DC outlet I assume?

If so I think this is what you need: https://topshelfaquatics.com/products/hydros-kraken-force-port-24v-adapter-cable-hydros-1

Those are the official ones, and $17, which is insane pricing, but simple. These GX12-2 2pin Female Plug To 5.5 2.1mm DC Adapter 18AWG 1.5M Extenion Cable on aliexpress for $2.77 should be the same thing. You can also build them, but way better to buy them premade since it's a huge PITA soldering everything and the aliexpress price is probably cheaper than you can build yourself.

Edit: here's a similar one on amazon, the main thing is GX12-2 female to dc male. The aliexpress ones are cheaper, and ship very fast to the west coast. I'd buy one on amazon, confirm it works, then buy more.

Unfortunately no, they do not fit the Red Sea pin configuration. I have checked and neither Red Sea or Hydros makes them. Everyone online states you need to make them yourself pretty simply, but it requires soldering and I cannot do that myself.

Can you clarify a bit more on what you're looking to do? E.g. what type of red sea devices and what are you looking to do with them? Run power to them or trying to control them?

I have a Red Sea ATO for example that I'm powering through a similar setup to this. The main difference is you need a right angle DC plug to fit properly, which the easiest thing to do is buy a separate right angle DC, female to male, adapter cord.

Hydros -> that power cord above that converts to a standard DC plug -> right angle adapter (e.g. this one) -> red sea power.

The above is kind of what I was doing. I'd need to double check the size of the red sea dc outlet to make sure it's the correct DC connector size.

I am just trying to utilize the Kraken to get rid of all my power bricks. I have Red Sea everything on this tank (Roller, Skimmer, Return Pump, ATO, Power Heads, etc.).

can you provide a pic of the plug you need? i thought it would just be regular dc plug adapter.

Gotcha, I think what I sent earlier would almost work, but I realized I sent a standard cable (I believe drive port style) instead of the 24v Force port style.

I think you just need:

I'm powering a red sea ATO in almost that same way. I'd need to triple check the dc connector is the right size there (5.5), but that should do it.

You can get the cords cheaper if you buy the non hydros version.

I have the cables to connect to Hydros, the problem is connecting to the pin configuration of the Red Sea connector.
