Refractometer calibration fluid

Correct me if I'm wrong but did i see somewhere here that standards will be available att the swap this weekend? Does it include refractometer calibration fluid?

I thought you just used distilled water o.O

I read that distilled or r/o water can be off by up to .003. I been using r/o water and haven't had any problems. Just want to compare readings between the 2 incase it is off by alot. I like to keep my salinity at 1.026 so .003 is a big difference.

NEVER calibrate a refractometer with RO/DI water :) Calibrate with a 35ppt solution. BAR has some of these and likely will be bringing some to the swap.

oh ic, so what am I looking for exactly? will it just be called refractometer calibration fluid?

We will have it. Kh standard and Povidone available.
