Tank is chugging along. Up to 102 ml of each part of b ionic.

phosphates creeped up to .27 and as soon as I replaced the rowaphos, it went back down to .07. That’s what I get for trying to make it stretch more than 2 weeks.

corals look great though

sent out an ICP test kit today. I think I am lacking in some trace elements. Some of my zoas look pissed.

You’re running the alk that low on purpose?

Yes. It’s where it seems to settle best. Plus that’s about what tropic marine pro mixes at.

I’d prefer to be around 8 so that I have some wiggle room. But I’ve seen tanks get really low on alk before. If it happens slowly it’ll be all good

Also just as I expected, I’m low on iodine. Those damn zoas always tell me when it’s getting low.

I need to find some to dose.

My ICP was also low on iodine. What will you dose?
