LIGHTING
Updated: 7/5/2024 -2x G4 XR15 at 50% and 90% Intensity. PAR recorded as points vs location on the rock work. The rock work has changed at least 10x over the spread of 2 months due to aesthetics, lighting, and flow requirements.
FLOW
Updated: 7/5/2024 - Hydros /Octo Pulse is configured to push/pull at 60% /- 30%. This flow pattern works for high-flow corals in the back and lower-flow corals in the front. The pattern also pushes detritus to the front of the tank for siphoning.

STABILITY
- Temperature (Updated 7/14/2024) :Home temp settings are 78-81F while the temperature of the aquarium is set to 78.2-78.6F. Temperature is stable with 1 CPU fan evaporation cooling. Devices I knew added to the temperature UV/ LED lights. Devices I didn't know that also increase temperature return pump, wave pumps. GOAL: maintain 78.2-78.6 when all devices are on at the desired settings.
- Phosphates/Nitrates/Alkalinity (Updated 7/14/2024): Nutrient Export: Phosphates (0-.3) and Nitrates (1-10) were very unstable during the first month. Over the recent months, parameters are more stable at .02-.08 Phosphate and 6-8 Nitrates. Feeding 3-4x daily GOAL: Keep Phosphates (.03-.1) and Nitrates (5-15) using nutrient export methods with a 30% bi-monthly water change. Alkalinity min 6.73/max 9.3: Dosing increases every two weeks, 1ml, 2ml, and current dosing of 4ml daily in an attempt to bring ALK back up to 8.4.
- TBD:
- Aggression (Updated 7/14/2024): Flame Angel and Six Line Wrasse's aggression peaked a few days ago leading to intervention. Six Line Wrasse is now living in the refugium area of the sump. Flame Angel nipping on Acan corals causing them to close up. Acans were also placed in the sump area for a few days to allow them to heal and open back up. It took a few days for them to heal up and open back up. They are now placed back in the DT on 7/14/2024 under careful observation.
