I am looking for a skimmer for my 57 gal. tank. I am looking for something, hopefully, under $200. I want something with very little adjustment and a small footprint. I am running a aquac remora on my current tank, I like the fact that it's a plug and play. I was thinking of a Euro Reef RS80, but couldn't find a decent used one, so I'm going new. I'm eyeing the SWC Xtreme 150 BMK Protein Skimmer or the Reef Octopus 4" Pinwheel In Sump Skimmer. Does anyone have a suggestion?

How about a Eshopps PSK-75 Ive had one for a while, its easy to adjust and works great + its not expensive :)

Maybe around $100 smackers!

Check the Vertex line, Aquatic Central can get them for you.
BTW Uniseal was the word I could not remember yesterday over the phone.

I have the SWC 160 in my 58 gallon. It is quite and I have not had any problems with it so far.

You can go with the SWC 120 cone which is cheaper than the 160. I run the 160 cone and love it.

I will probably look into the SWC. I read many good reviews about them. I like the idea that it has a small footprint. Vertex does seem like a really good skimmer also. Many people said it's very similar and identical to the euro-reef rs80. I have to recheck my sump size, I might consider this as well. The price point is very appealing.
