wow that is one good looking colony. I see you have gloves on, really nice process, is it nitrile? Great coloration too, do you use any computer dosing or is it all manual?

normally when i put my hands in the tank, i put on some nitrile gloves. as for "computer dosing," i run a dastaco calcium reactor and manual dose twice a week of red sea trace elements abcd with additional magnesium dosing every sunday. i send off icp quarterly and make sure everything is in line since i havent done a water change in about 2 years or so.

Oh wow, 2 years without a waterchange is mindblowing for me but that makes sense with your meticulous element monitoring. I also usually try to glove up in the tank to ensure I dont introduce anything bad/get something.
