Hi

I was looking to see if anyone sold the variant of a two-banded clownfish that I was looking for. I clicked on saltwater aquarium and it showed the price as $47.99. I reopened the page a min or two later. It was now $159.99.

Everything else was the same!!!

The second price is the price for a pair, not a single fish. The first price is for one.

I am not a clownfish person, but this fish looks very pretty.

I heard that there are ethical concerns about designer clownfish, but I have no details.

I think the concern is the selective breeding process (lots of in-breeding) leads to higher rates of physical deformities and illness.
