Tank is chugging along. Trident has helped me tune my CaRx tremendously.

Chaeto is finally growing well and I can really start feeding well again.

Been feeding Benepets to the corals late at night when the lights are at the lowest (polyps are more extended) and early in the morning. About twice a week.

Jury is still out. Not sure if any growth can be attributed to using any kind of foods or if they would have done the same without. But doesn’t hurt I guess.

I did use it and really didn’t notice a difference. My friend Jimmy loves it so I tried it and for me just didn’t see anything

Gotta say Vincent for cell phone pictures, you take some pretty good ones. Do you white balance your pictures at all? Or just not use very much blue light?

The corals were straight cell phone shots. No filters no white balance.

The fish was with an app called Aquarium Cam. Does an auto white balance. Can be a little much sometimes but does a pretty good job most times.

So I'm planning on taking down the 40B finally and moving everything over to the 190. Only a few pieces left in the 40b but the dilemma is what to do with the pair of lightning maroons in the 40b!?!

There are a few BTAs in the 40b that the pair are in but the BTAs are NOT coming over to the 190. I am tempted to move the lightnings into the 190 and maybe they will accept the LTA that is there already or use whatever else they find suits their needs (hammer, duncan etc).

But I'm worried they will get territorial and start beating up on fish. They will be one of the last fish into the system at this point. Might add another wrasse (C. jordani) and maybe some anthias at a later date but may not happen depending.
