Feel free to join our next BOD meeting to give ideas too. Last time we actually had decent attendance, but mostly because @tribbitt was being held hostage by his driver lol

Some Bar members do own food establishments with display aquariums which may be a good location to meet/chill / rehydrate! since their always open. Bowl of Pho in Sunnyvale @thephoreefer had an amazing torch tank now transformed ! ,,, Then Kezar Pizzetta in SF next to Kezar Stadium can not remember his Bar name? Here’s a pic of the tank at Kezar Pizzetta I could not find a recent pic of the one at Bowl of Pho.. Both are great places to dine! I don’t know if there are any other current establishments owned or run by Bar members. Think @H2OPlayar was helping with a large tank at a Cantina not sure if that owner is a Bar members as well?
If anyone knows of other food establishments owned by members please shout !

Has anyone attended the Thursday Nightlife events 18+ at Steinhart? Wondering if you can walk through all the marine exhibits?
Kids are well to old for the sleepover event Ha

I am very confused by the existence of the anti-BAR Facebook group and now the AC feud, which makes Neptune recommend that we do a club LFS tour to reestablish a relationship that most or all members here were not responsible for breaking. And when folks ask what this is all about, the answer is to move on?

Well, on the bright side I learned here today that there is an excellent pizza place next to Golden Gate park with a reef tank. Will check this out soon.

There is no Anti-bar Facebook group. Are you saying that @SupraSaltyReefer is anti bar as well? His group is called Hella salty bay area reefers. Not bar is just distinguishing it's self as being not us. A lot of people thought we were a fb only group.

The AC story was well before my time back when lfs had to pay us a decent amount of money to be "sponsors". It was no longer a good investment for ac to "sponsor" us.

I went a few times back in like 2018. Most things are open but of course a lot of the lights are out and some animals asleep. Really fun though!

Not trying to stir the pot but honestly I’ll have to disagree here. A lot of members here are members there but also a lot of them there don’t like BAR. Christopher also made a statement and that last part seems pretty anti-BAR. Also in that particular member that had the raffle issues post, there were a lot of anti-BAR comments
