What's this cute brown polyp?

My gut says majano, but hard to tell. Where'd it come from?

Since it didn’t come definitively described as something else, with its appearance I’d say a pest anemone like majano. Dispose of.

The close up pic makes it look like a bubble tip nem, but they are usually bigger than 1" and have a clearly red color. I agree it is likely a pest nem though.

If it's self attaching to a container after that short period of time, most definitely not a zoa.

This guy came on a piece of rubble with a shroom frag. Sounds like the verdict is some sort of pest nem. It's quite good at walking around, so definitely not a zoa!

I had a little brown blob like that too in a frag trade container. I was suspicious, so I placed it in a low flow area to observe it. It opened up into a small orange ricordia.

It's definitely a Majano and you need to get rid of it ASAP, unless you want to have an infestation of them. Once they start reproducing you'll have a big problem on your hands.

No worries! I've been keeping it in a separate container for that reason
