. With the light mounted 9 inches above the water and measured 6 inches below the water, the center par is 268. Measuring 11 inches below the water, 150 PAR doesn't sound wrong.

Could be that it is a different brand meter and could be catching some reflection off the front glass panel

I'm guessing reflections. The tank is only 12" wide so I may be getting a ton of reflection.

Reflection is huge. It isn‘t unusual at all to have twice the PAR at the bottom front of the tank vs the bottom back if there is black backing the decreases reflection in the back.

Also in this video

they show measurements at 6inches, 12 inches, 18inches (not at full power but just so you get an idea of how much PAR is lost with increased depth). As you can see at 12 inches below the water you lose almost half of what is at 6inches. So if 6inches full power is 268 then 11 inches at 150 sounds right.

Yup. The matches my measurements with the G4 pro XR15s when i set up my lil 5G bucket. Plus up to 20% reduction with diffuser

I’m going to stick the Radion in a hybrid fixture with some T5s. That’ll let me lower it to increase PAR.

Adds about 50 PAR ... at least for the XR30 version... at 18" below water surface, mounted 9' above on RMS arm...
