Yup just like that, although 1" x 1" may work too, you got a fairly long tank so that may have issues.

Also you can get that stuff in black too if you're worrying about how it'll look.

Aluminum would hold up better than steel.

I don't think that will work. The T slot is actually on the bottom of the bar for the Orpheks The bar is turned upside down from the picture and the bolt slides into the T that way.

The t-slot is on the bottom as well when you mount radions. If you buy a RMS hanging kits, it'll come with two brackets that slides on the top of the grooves. You may be able to attach an aluminum bar to a few of those brackets for added support. I'm guessing you'd need at least 6 of those brackets (maybe more).

Have you started running your uv sterilizes yet? I want to hear your impression of them. I’ve been thinking about one for my next build but I’m still on the fence and they aren’t cheap.
