Did anyone get this alage to attach to a rock or is it forever loose and floating around? I've even tried wrapping it with mesh netting around a rock. Eventually it grows big and buoyant enough that it rips itself off and floats around.

@tribbitt looked like he had a lot of it growing in his DT almost looked like it was in place on the rocks from his pictures?

A clump of mine attached. Not sure how, but I just wedged it into a gap in a rock and it just attached. Most others just float though.
