Made some room this weekend removing the large forest fire and spongodes colonies. Crazy to think kalkwasser only could grow so much stone (including the stylo colony removed in May). I will try and feed the tank a little less than normal for a couple weeks.

Ahh, the circle of life. How do you cure it before use? Otherwise won’t it leach nutrients?
