I would check that ball valve. Those get crusty over time and fail.

I use two little fishies clip. But any clip will work. The secret is to make your nori into a little square ball. Then when you put it on the clip. Squeeze the clip closed. It will never come off.

I have moved a lot of aquariums in my day. The only way to move a large aquarium is with good suction cups. It’s really that good. And the good news is. The club has really good suction cups that you can borrow for free.

Frameless aquariums always make me extremely nervous

From what I can tell. 3/4 were good ones. 1/4 were bad ones. I saved 4 good ones. And 3 bad ones. Last time we did Kupang. They were all bad. Unfortunately collateral damage. Unless you are going to spend hours trying to pick them out of their holes. It’s difficult.

Yes. Lots of crabs. Some good some bad. I don’t know what’s what either. I try to save them when I see them fall off. Then sort them out later.

Potassium chloride and whatever other dip I have on hand. Usually something that is tea tree oil based. Then I inspect with a 40x magnifying glass. I’m not saying I get all bugs. I don’t think anyone can get them all.

Never had black bugs that I know of. Red bugs. Just use interceptor.
