My guess is the nails are holding reinforcement pieces, and the screws hold the crate together

Originally built this stand for a 24"x24" footprint frag tank, then had my IM 25 lagoon on it. Picked up an APS stand for my lagoon, so I don't need this. I wouldn't call it furniture grade by any stretch, but it's not horrible looking. Very sturdy. Pickup in San Jose.

Ya I was worried about that, that's why I have the fan in there. So far they don't get very hot though, so I'll keep an eye on them. My lighting power supplies are elsewhere. These are just powerheads and pumps, which are all running around 50% max.

Looks like my voltage hit 110 today but has been pretty good through the hottest days.

Tanks in my garage got close to 85 yesterday... Will have to wait a few weeks to see if it messes with the coral..
