Not as strongly as the Kessils. There is a shimmer but it’s more subdued. Even under evening blues it’s there. If there was no shimmer at all I’d not be happy but I enjoy the more subdued effect. Sent you a quick video but the camera doesn’t really pick it up well.

The airline tubing elbow ends just below the waters surface so there’s no jet of water splashing. It’s clear so it’s not invisible. Maybe I should order some elbows in black. Not sure why you’d need a T vs an elbow?

Perhaps something like what I did could be an option for your returns to siphon out less water when your return pump is off?

Moving the top rock back here would help quite a bit. If this were my scape I'd break the top rock in half or thirds to create 2-3 platforms (or wings) branching off that central smaller rock. This would double or triple the real estate for high par coral.

Do you have a pic from the side? One of my biggest regrets in my 2nd scape was putting rock up above that shades the scape below. It really limited what coral I could place on the rockwork. From the front the top rock looks like it will throw quite a bit of shade.
