    If you don't have any corals in there, you can leave the lights off. If you want to leave the lights on, then you need some herbivores to eat the algae. You can start with some snails like trochus and astrea and see how that goes.

    Try supergluing over its hidey hole. If it doesn't have another escape route, that should take care of it.

    Is it the inline TDS meter that is reading 1 TDS? If so, get a reading from a TDS pen and see if it reads the same?

    I've read that the rock can absorb/bind the copper, so the amount you think you have in the water for treatment is less than you think. Maybe not an issue if you are constantly testing copper during treatment, but something to keep in mind I guess.

    Still using the AquaWiz and I still like it. The motors get some corrosion, which I guess is a common issue, but hasn't effected functionality. I could see you building one of these from scratch, could be a fun project.
