So I was looking at my torch just before lights on, and I saw a ton of little brown spots on the tissue at the base. ACK! FLATWORMS! or so I thought...

So I pulled it out and put it in a coral rx dip.. Nothing comes off.

I look at them under my magnifying glass and they appear to be under the tissue, they don't seem to move on their own, but if I gently blow water at them they seem to float around under the tissue. Is this just zooxanthellae or something?

So I put it back in the tank, then I see these tiny things floating in the dip

At first I thought it was just detritus, but they seem to move with a purpose. No obvious appendages or structure. They are cylindrical or teardrop shape. Not sure how to post a video...

Anyone know what either of these things are?

Do they only come off with water blasts? It might be good to brush them off with a tooth brush or something similar. Until you know what they are

Well hopefully it feels the love in the air again some time, with some advice from rich you may become the gold torch kingpin of the bay, haha.

Do you run lunar cycle on your lights, or is that complete bull crap

I also notice one or two polyps on my indo torch with those tiny bumps in them...wonder if I’ll see the same thing
