For those who ever thought out using ozone, the Poseidon 200 is on sale for $209 (tax included and free shipping). This is the cheapest I have ever seen. I have this unit already and it has worked flawlessly:

If anyone picks this up and wants an ozone monitor I have an extra Milwaukee ozone controller that is brand new. Just needs a new probe since the one I was shipped had a bent probe which works but is better or replace.

Do you know where the brine shrimps are from? Are they sourced from within the US?
I am not sure but this is a brine shrimp company that sells to public aquariums and also private labels their brine shrimp products. I am sure if you asked they would provide an answer. Wherever they get their brine shrimp and mysis from it is very high quality (ie, rinses clean and nice sized whole small shrimps).

Looks like they are from Utah, and the contamination seems rather low. I prefer mysis over brine due to the apparent greater nutritional value, and I have concerns with some of the brine shrimps sourced from overseas.

Prices are good.

His mysis 100:1 no, not from the US. I can't say what he uses now, but years ago, all were sourced from outside the US. Not really sure there are any harvested in the US.

His brine shrimp are SL sourced.

Just went and purchased a Poseidon 200, thanks for the tip. Was just searching for one this past weekend. I would be interested in monitor if it is still available. Thanks.

I am using this one too. Powerful enough for even large tanks. I am running it at the lowest setting 24/7. Definitely a great price.

They have the air dryer on sale too, but still too expensive.

Petco has a great deal right now. They have 10% off for ordering online and picking up in store plus 20% off for BF. All of this on top of items that may have already been marked down. This is a great deal for supplies, equipment and food. I was actually surprised at my final total after loading up.

I'm looking to get a screen lid for my Waterbox 65.4 Peninsula. Still deciding between Kraken or Toplids. Kraken has 10-15% off and Top lids has up to 12% off.

Top three stand outs to me.

1.) The deal on the Australia stripey if you have aptasia issues is great.

2.) Trochus snails 5 for $10 is pretty good as well. These are ones that can turn themselves over and breed in your tank.

2.) Blue tangs - I don't think I ever seen them this cheaply.

Take aways from last year when I went. If you want some of the more desired fish get there before they open, as they were passing out tickets for those with limited quantities.

* I went there a 1hr 15mins early and was first there. I was slow getting out the car lol (line started 20 minutes before they opened), and ended up being 3rd in line out of around 20 other people that were there before opening. Once they opened people just kept coming.

Thanks for sharing.

A really great deal is the blotched anthias. Yet, I would always pay more for fish and buy them from Kenny.

And, well, the more questionable offer is the pricing for the holy grail :).

It’s not a good deal if you have to get there an hour before they open to get it and people coming during business hours can’t

Wow there are are great deals here. Too bad I am in SoCal for the week. I assume there won’t be much left when I get back. The Blochy Anthia sale is very attractive. My only hesitation is whether my Bimacs will fight with the Blochy. If so I would likely need to rehome.

It is a good deal for those who get the deal though :)

One deal I messed up on was BRS had a sale on Nyos Salt + ATI ICP test for 50% off last week. I hesitated and within a few hours the deal was sold out. I would have otherwise bought 5 buckets + ICP at a massive discount. The fact that I didn’t get to purchase doesn’t negate the fact that it was a great deal!

I’m having visions of Walmart Black Friday stampedes, shootings, fights. Hahahahaha.
